Congrats goes out to Scotty McCreery and his wife Gabi as the two announced that they are expecting a baby boy this November.

Talking to People Scotty says “We’ve gotten to live a lot of life and do some cool things, so seems like now’s a good time to settle down a little and expand the family.” 

Scotty and Gabi got married in 2018 – and it was McCreery’s desire to spend more time with his wife that inspired his number-one hit “You Time”

While Scotty may use his experience to lull the baby to sleep – Gabi’s job as a pediatric nurse might come in a little more handy…at least for Scotty, as he says “If the baby coughs, I’ll be like, ‘Hey, Gabi, is this okay? What’s happening here?’ So, knowing that she has that experience, I think will be huge.”

This news is welcomed by the couple’s family, and many, many fans that have followed McCreery’s career since his days on American Idol as a teenager, and have watched him grow up.

Scotty McCreery’s current single at country radio, “Damn Strait,” is Top 5 and climbing the Billboard airplay chart.
