Lexington’s Morning News

 

Jack Pattie's been getting Central Kentuckians up and on their way on Newstalk 590 WVLK since 1975.  After 35 years on the air,  Jack continues his dominance in the market.  According to the latest Neilson ratings (Spring 2009), the Lexington Morning News with Jack Pattie is rated #1 in the 6 to 10am daypart in the station's target demographic (35+).

 
From 6 until 9am the show is information driven with ABC National and World News, local news anchored by Scott Johnson, up to the minute traffic with Brad Munson, and all the latest UK and other sports information with Channel 18's Mary Jo Perino.
 
From 9 until 10am, Jack opens the phone lines for an unbiased discussion of subjects ranging from politics to investments.  Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear is a guest on the third Tuesday of each month.  Lexington Mayor Jim Newberry is guest on the first Wednesday of the month.  Every Friday, Jack is joined in the studio by Commonwealth Attorney Ray Larson.  Each week a high profile court case is discussed with prosecutors from around the country.
